Hello!  I’m Dr. Tim Ryschon and welcome to this site!  Let me tell you a little about myself and about how medical marijuana could be helpful to you.  Like most medical doctors, I had minimal knowledge about medical use of marijuana before encountering pain and arthritis patients that described its benefit.  These patient reports were so compelling that I was moved to review the world literature describing the medical, biochemical, physiological, and mental effects of cannabinoids.  What I found was an impressive body of basic science about the plant and a  wealth of anecdotal reports of its beneficial use in a range of disease conditions.  But what was the most intriguing was the existence of position statements by the national governing bodies for medical doctors, which lends convincing support for the use of cannabinoids in a number of diagnoses.

These discoveries, along with positive patient reports from my private practice, have led me to conclude that MMJ recommendations are a worthwhile adjunctive interventions for many patients.  Most state legislation enabling MMJ use focuses on patients with severe, chronic, and disabling conditions; unfortunately, I have found that these very patients seem to have the hardest time accessing a physician to provide an evaluation, and, when appropriate, a recommendation for MMJ licensure.  SIMPLECERT is my attempt to give these patients access to evaluation in a simple, affordable, convenient, and professional manner.  Remember I also offer primary care for my MMJ patients as well!
